Cascading parameter/Dependent parameter in APEX 4.2

The objective of this exercise is to generate cascading parameter in APEX reports.

Prerequisite: A report on table EMP.

We need to create another HTML region with two page items (parameters) and a button to submit the parameters entered.

When we choose the first parameter value, the second should have to be refreshed automatically based on first parameter value. We take DEPTNO as first parameter and EMPNO as second parameter. We need to edit and set the Cascading LOV Parent Item(s) of the EMPNO parameter.

When we select the value of DEPTNO, the values of EMPNO select list gets changed automatically.
