APEX 4.2 : Set Build Status of Application Read Only

 Objective:

                An application can be made Run only in APEX by changing the build status and how to undo the application to make it editable.

Create an application in APEX.

Now the application is editable. In order to make the application read only click on the application and in the following screen click on Edit Application Properties button.

Then change the Build Status in the Available section as Run Application Only.

Now the application will be changed to Run only status.

In order to change the build status of the application and give the edit access the following steps needs to be performed.

Navigation : Administration > Manage Service

When we click on Manage Services, we will get the Application Build Status option.

Click on Application Build Status and in the following screen we can change the Build Status of the application.

Now the application gets the edit option.
